We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer, household, or device (“personal information”).
The types of Personal Information collected and used by GLU depend on specific activities as described below.
- Directly from you when you provide it to us. This includes information you provide by filling in forms on our Site, such as information provided at the time of registering to use our Site; when you purchase our products or request information about shipping and/or returning our products; or by requesting further services on the Site, such as when you use the Contact Us link.

Information collected automatically may include usage information we collect through the use of cookies and other automated tracking technologies, and we also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services.
Cookies. Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer you are using. They allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Site, pages visited, and language preferences. We and our automated technology service providers use this information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, display information more effectively, and to personalize your experience while using the Site.
GLU and our service providers use different types of cookies for different functions. For example, we may use “Location Cookies” to help track where users visit the Site from, and “Analytics Cookies” which help us track end-user behaviors as they use the Site (i.e., which products are purchased, which areas of the Site receive heavy user traffic, and/or which areas receive little user traffic).
Most cookies expire within 24 hours, but you can refuse to accept these cookies by following your browser’s instructions at any time. Note, however, that if you do not accept cookies, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of the Site. You may also not receive advertising or other offers from us that are relevant to your interests and needs. For more information about cookies, and to learn how to disable cookies in your browser settings, please visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Web beacons, pixel tags, and other technologies. We work with our service providers to deploy these technologies in order to track the actions of users on our Site, measure the success of our marketing campaigns, and compile statistics about Site usage.

The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information such as name, address, email address, and financial information when you purchase a product, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We may also require the child to create a unique user name and password on the site, although we will clearly specify whether additional information we request is “required” or “optional.”
We may also use the automated technologies described in the previous section to collect a child’s identifiers, network activity, and/or geolocation information and combine that information with non-personal information—such as aggregated data—that we collect online.

We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third-parties' goods and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way, please adjust your user preferences in your account profile or by contacting us using the Contact Us section below.
How We Share Your Personal Information

We may provide information about a user who is a customer to a third party as necessary in order to process that customer’s request or order, or otherwise service a customer’s account.
We will disclose or report Personal Information in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under applicable laws, to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, respond to claims, and to protect the rights, property or safety of GLU or others. This may include, for example, the exchange of information with other organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
We will use your e-mail or other address (e.g., physical address) to send you important information relating to your account.
We do not share the names and e-mail addresses of recipients of our distribution lists or the results of our surveys and questionnaires with third parties, including sellers. However, we may share aggregated and anonymized research data with business partners in certain circumstances, for example, in order to collect funds owed to us by the business partner or in order to administer our relationships with those partners.
We may disclose and/or sell your personal information to our trusted third party business partners and service providers for a business purpose. For example, we sometimes share your personal information with our marketing service providers, who help us create targeted advertisements for products and services that may interest you.
