  1. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”)

Information We Collect

We will not knowingly collect information about a child under the age of 13 without having first obtained parental consent. To verify parental consent, we may:

  • request the parent contact us by emailing;
  • provide a consent form that a parent can print, sign, and send by postal mail, fax, or electronic scan; or

We only collect as much information about a child as is reasonably necessary for the child to participate in an activity, and we do not condition his or her participation on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.

We may collect the following information from a child to register with our Site: the child’s first name, birthdate, the child’s or the child’s parents’ email address and the child’s or the child’s parents’ financial information. We may also require the child to create a unique user name and password on the site, although we will clearly specify whether additional information we request is “required” or “optional.”

We may also use the automated technologies described in the previous section to collect a child’s identifiers, network activity, and/or geolocation information and combine that information with non-personal information—such as aggregated data—that we collect online.

How We Use This Information

We use this information to register a child with the Site; to assist with product purchases or returns, and to communicate with the child about such product purchases or returns; and respond to inquiries about our Site and/or our products. The information we collect automatically is used to improve our Site and gather data about usage patterns on our Site.

How We Share This Information

We may disclose aggregated, non-personal information about users of the Site. We also may disclose a child’s personal information:

  • to our service providers who support our Site operations and process transactions on the Site;
  • when required by law, such as to comply with a court order or subpoena or to respond to any government or regulatory request;
  • to protect the rights or safety of GLU, our customers, or others; and
  • to law enforcement agencies or to protect public safety.

Your Rights to Your Child’s Information

You can request that we correct or delete your child’s personal information or prohibit further collection or use of your child’s personal information at any time by emailing us at Note that we may require additional information from you to verify your identity before we will provide any information or make any corrections.

You can also log into your child’s account or visit your About Me page to access, correct, and/or delete your child’s personal information.

  1. California’s “Online Eraser Law”

If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and a user of Site, you may request removal of content or information you have publicly posted. Please be aware that such a request does not ensure complete removal from the Internet of the content or information you posted, and there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following purposes:

·       To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. ·       To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Site, products, and services.·       To create, maintain, customize, and secure your account with us.·       To process your requests, purchases, transactions, and payments and prevent transactional fraud.·       To personalize your Site experience and to deliver content and product and service offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads through our Site, third-party sites, and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law).·       As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA.·       For any other purpose with your consent.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice. We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third-parties' goods and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way, please adjust your user preferences in your account profile or by contacting us using the Contact Us section below.

How We Share Your Personal Information

Except as outlined below, where required by applicable laws, we will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your consent.

We may provide information about a user who is a customer to a third party as necessary in order to process that customer’s request or order, or otherwise service a customer’s account.

We will disclose or report Personal Information in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under applicable laws, to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, respond to claims, and to protect the rights, property or safety of GLU or others. This may include, for example, the exchange of information with other organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We will use your e-mail or other address (e.g., physical address) to send you important information relating to your account.

We do not share the names and e-mail addresses of recipients of our distribution lists or the results of our surveys and questionnaires with third parties, including sellers. However, we may share aggregated and anonymized research data with business partners in certain circumstances, for example, in order to collect funds owed to us by the business partner or in order to administer our relationships with those partners.

We may disclose and/or sell your personal information to our trusted third party business partners and service providers for a business purpose. For example, we sometimes share your personal information with our marketing service providers, who help us create targeted advertisements for products and services that may interest you. When we share your personal information in this manner, be assured that we have service provider agreements in place that specifically state the service provider cannot use your personal information that we provide to them for any other purpose than the business purposes stated in the agreement.
